We recognise the importance of privacy and are committed to protecting your privacy when handling your personal information.

The personal information we collect about you includes your email address and (if your name gets selected in the book giveaway draw) whether or not you reside in Australia.

If you should win a prize and you reside within Australia, we will ask you for your postal address so that your prize can be sent to you. This information will not be kept on file.

We do not currently use cookies on our site.

The primary purpose for which we collect your email address is to build a following for our site and social media accounts via a subscription newsletter. This enables us to provide you with news and information on latest episodes, upcoming giveaways and related writing, social or skating opportunites. While we may occasionally feature advertising in our newsletter, we will not disclose your information to third parties.

Writers on Ice acknowledges the Wurundjeri people as the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the country we work upon. We pay respect to Elders past, present and emerging. We recognise all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ continuing connection to land, waters and culture, and acknowledge that sovereignty has never been ceded and treaty is yet to be signed.
